HaMekarer is a work space suited for artists, designers, sound men, dance and writing artists, individuals and groups interested in creating collegiality in a new and unique art space in central Tel Aviv. HaMekarer is a space for art and culture that contains studio complexes and cultural events, an extraordinary industrial complex that caters to the dreams of creative artists that require an enabling and experiential space for action. In an underground area of about 1,000 square meters there is room for activity, a studio, a display, a brainstorming room, mutual influences and group activity.
The compound is located on Hahashmona'im Street, in a space that used to serve as the cooling house of the wholesale market. The compound is located near Gindi TLV Fashion Mall, near the Ayalon Highway, HaShalom Train Station and public transportation. HaMekarer offers its members various types of room suitable for private and/or shared studios, open space workstations, storage space, common space for guests and sitting areas for meetings, a kitchenette, a freight elevator (the place is not accessible for the disabled) and WiFi. Later on, the place will include a gallery, a shop with works by the residents of the compound and a café.

WeWork is negotiating a deal to lease half of the ToHa office tower, which is currently being built on Totzeret Ha'Aretz Street. It is estimated that rents in the common workspace will range from 70-80 NIS per square meter.
Mindspace, the co-working spaces chain, has rented four additional floors of 3,500 sq.m. in Zion House on Rothschild Boulevard and will increase the existing Rothschild branch to 5,200 sq.m.
The opening of the new space is expected at the beginning of next year.
